Campus life at University of Portland is filled with lots of options to get involved. Over 1,800 students live in our ten residence halls and over 4,000 students currently attend UP. There are over 70 student run clubs on campus with options including academic, multicultural, sports and special interest groups. Our Division I athletic teams give Pilots lots to cheer about. As you explore the region, you'll find over 200 parks in Portland, including Forest Park, which has 5,100 wooded acres and more than 80 miles of trails. Portland's Downtown is just a quick MAX light rail ride away. And within 90 minutes by car, you can be snowboarding on Mt. Hood, windsurfing or hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, or surfing and exploring on the Oregon coast. So get involved!
