The original song (we did not use any samplings from the original recording of the song) is the song "First Day of My Life" by Bright Eyes. We have contacted Saddle Creek Records, who have the rights to the original recording; they informed us that they do not have any ownership of the cover that we used since we did not use any samplings from the studio recording. We also contacted Sony/ATV, the song owners, and filled out a release form to use a cover of the song.
